Tucked along a private road in Maggie Valley and surrounded by forest, The Hive is a 350 sq.ft. design-forward retreat shaped by simplicity, natural materials, and intention. Every element is considered — not to impress, but to help you unwind.

This is not a place built around activity.
It’s built around how you feel while you’re here.

🌿 The Setting

Surrounded by trees and free from shared spaces, The Hive offers a level of privacy that’s increasingly rare. Wildlife moves through the landscape, the air feels different, and the pace naturally begins to slow.

You’re still just minutes from Maggie Valley’s trails, overlooks, and river access — but once you arrive, you may not feel the need to leave.

The interior is intentionally minimal, warm, and calming — designed to support rest without distraction.

The experience extends beyond the walls.

A large private deck creates space to sit, reset, and spend time outside — whether that’s morning coffee, afternoon sun, or a quiet night under the stars.

Step directly from the cabin into your own network of private hiking paths.
These trails are designed less for distance, and more for experience — with natural clearings, rest points, and moments that invite you to pause.

🔥 Firewood & Essentials

A starter supply of firewood is provided for both the fireplace and outdoor fire pit, with additional bundles available if needed.
Propane is included for the grill.

Well-mannered pets are welcome with a $95 per-stay fee.
